​Founded in 1985, the Hispanic Student Association has been the voice of the Hispanic community on our campus through the founding of La Casita, Multicultural Greek Life, the Alumni Association, the 2001 "We Stand Against Racism" March, the election of the first Latino, and then Latina, Student Body Presidents, the 2016 Election. In Spring 2024, the Hispanic Student Association transitioned their name to the Hispanic-Latine Student Association and in Fall 2024 the historian team "History Buffs" was established to collect, record, and share the history of our community here at UF.
